March

20 - Saturday - 10:00 am - Guided walking tour of Art in Public Places.  Meet at Starbucks on 13th between J & K (inside the convention center).  Tour will be @ 90 minutes.  If it is raining, it will be inside.  The cheapest, easiest parking is in the garage at 14th & H.   Lunch will be at Burgers & Brew, 1400 R St.  Judy is facilitating, judyk131@sbcglobal.net.

April

2 - 4 - Daffodil Hill  - this is a tentative date, depending on the whim of the daffodils.  For those who wish to camp, we will camp at the 49er Village RV Resort in Plymouth, www.49ervillage.com.   Page & Connie are facilitating, page22@comcast.net.

11 – Sunday - 4:00 pm – Mexican Train and potluck at Judy’s house, judyk131@sbcglobal.net.  Please RSVP.

17 – Saturday - Creek Cleanup – 9:00 am – American River College, Stadium parking lot.  Thanks to Karen this has become an annual service activity.  We meet at this location, where we sign in, get our T shirt coupon and lunch ticket and trash bags, and then off we go to tidy up the creek.  Wear clothing that can get dirty.  Long sleeves are recommended.  Contact Karen at karen.auble@sbcglobal.net .   While it isn’t necessary to rsvp, if we know you are coming, we’ll watch for you.

May

1 – Saturday - Carmichael Geranium Show – Details to come.

7- 9 – Friday & Saturday nights - Rancho Seco Campout – Camp at the Rancho Seco Recreation Area.  www.smud.org/en/about/Pages/recreation-rancho.aspx.   There are RV sites with water and electrical hookups and tent sites. The Howard Ranch Trail takes you through some great natural areas with vernal pools in early spring and wild flowers after the pools evaporate.  Helen & Anne are facilitating.  advancedwellness@surewest.net.

23 – Sunday - Potluck at Ann & Becca’s – details coming.

June

5 – Saturday - Dinner somewhere at The Fountains shopping center in Roseville.  This will likely include a visit to the newly opened Sur La Table kitchen store.  Details to come.

13-20 - Invitational at Quail Valley Recreation Village - go to the Invitational page for information and registration.

26 – Saturday - Folsom Lake Day Trip – Details coming.  Julie & Diane are facilitating.

July
