Trading Post is Going Online At least that’s the plan as all the details haven’t been worked out yet. Marianne & Donna in Sacramento have volunteered to take over the Trading Post. In addition to their day jobs they have an in-home marketing business (www.dogbonepromos.com) & have access to a variety of items, like some of those found in the Trading Post, but times 50 for selection. They can supply & imprint, either by silkscreening or printing, or embroidery, the Camping Women name & logo on: clothing, mugs, water bottles, backpacks, flashlights, key chains, pens, pencils, caps, camp chairs and just about anything you can think of. They have the ability to print in very small quantities from their own in-house equipment, guaranteeing quick turnaround from time of order. They order good quality clothing from the same company CW has used for many years. There will be a site specific website for ordering CW merchandise that will be accessible from this website. Don’t look for it yet, as all the kinks aren’t worked out, but you can take a sneak preview at www.companycasuals.com/campingwomen.
One of our goals is to cut down on having a large inventory of items to store between Invitationals and then having to heavily discount left over items the next year to make way for new ones. It is very difficult to select the colors, sizes, styles to suit everyone & ordering online may be the solution. There will still be merchandise at Invitational in addition to the ability to special order items & to purchase existing TP inventory from the website.
