National Camping Events Camping Women sponsors several "national camps" during the year. Some of these are service camps throughout the state, some are campouts that are planned at the national level and the major national event is Invitational, an event held in a different part of the state on a rotating basis and draws members from all across the nation. Camp Menzies National Service Camp 2008Camp Menzies will be held Memorial Day weekend again this year. This is the service camp where we help get the Girl Scout camp ready for summer. You can tent camp, rv camp (no hookups) or stay in one of the cabins. There will be a $20 fee for food. Charlotte & Shirley are facilitating and can be contacted at shirlotte@comcast.net.
Note: All events sponsored by Camping Women are planned and led by volunteers who pay their own way.
