National Camping Events Camping Women sponsors several "national camps" during the year. Some of these are service camps throughout the state, some are campouts that are planned at the national level and the major national event is Invitational, an event held in a different part of the state on a rotating basis and draws members from all across the nation. Note: All events sponsored by Camping Women are planned and led by volunteers who pay their own way. Fees for events cover the cost of the camping facilities, phone and postage costs, and when needed, transportation costs for pre-event planning.For interested women across the country and world: You are invited to register for and join us in any of these events and see the West of the USA while meeting new friends in a safe and beautiful environment.Camp Norge 2006
