Camping Women is a national organization designed to
provide safe camping experiences for women.
A small contingency attended the meeting to
accept the award. Charlotte did the talking. A video of our hard
work was playing during the presentation.
Don't forget to renew your membership. Membership is still $25. Send
your check to the person in your chapter who handles memberships and/or money.
Checks should be made out to Camping Women. In addition to renewing your
own membership, invite a friend to become a member.

The Heart of Central California Girl
Scout Council recognized Camping Women with a Community Partnership Award on
February 7, 2009 for their service at Camp Menzies.
This volunteer, non-profit organization provides
camping opportunities, instruction and resources in the out-of-doors.
The only fees are those necessary to cover the expense
of each event. Modest annual membership dues cover the expenses of chapter and national
newsletters and other organizational expenses.
Camping Women currently has chapters
throughout California and welcomes new members from all parts of the country (and the world).
